Founded by Zahi E. Abou Mansour, R&C (Research & Contracting s.a.r.l.) delivers a broad range of services in the fields of construction, architecture, engineering, interior design, research and real estate development.
Zahi communicated his vision to the firm by putting an emphasis on nurturing relationships with suppliers and clients and on training his staff to exceed clients’ needs. By bringing together human and material resources, our firm successfully took on cross-border opportunities in the MENA region. We believe that our service capabilities are only as valuable as the quality of the relationships that animate them. This is why our organization culture encourages frequent, as well as, face-to-face interaction between clients and our team at every level.
Today, our firm prides itself in its broad experience and extensive portfolio of diverse and high quality projects, ranging from pre-construction planning and risk analysis, to feasibility and construction services, from design to project close-out and certificate of occupancy. Our projects include public infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings, private villas and palaces, and educational institutions. While a number of them are large in scale, our operations retain the intimacy of a family-based business and the principles of a large organization. Our company culture shines through the details of each project at any given stage. While a dedicated team is assigned to the life of each project, clients always have a depth of in-house resources they can rely on through the duration of the project.

Joint Venture
R&C Lebanon went into joint venture with Horizon Star International, Dubai, starting May 2005
R&C has provided technical assistance to some H.S.I. projects: design, perspectives, working drawings, tender documents, site visits for interior works, etc… such as Dubai Municipality Chairman Palace (Dubai, 21,000 m2), Sheikh Mohamad Mirri Villa (Morocco, 2,400 m2), Sheikh Awad Villa (Abu Dhabi, 3,000 m2).
